I didn't even ...Oh, Pam, I'm so sorry to hear this. I didn't even know animals could get colitis.<BR/><BR/>My hubby had to take our Cairn Terrier to be put to sleep at age 15. She had congestive heart failure, was totally blind & couldn't hear a thing. We loved her so much but I just couldn't be the one to go with her. Hubby said I owed it to her to be there for her, but I would have only made it worse for her by loudly sobbing as I often do. It's always painful to lose a pet, for me anyway.
